Frank Fenton
Welding Consultation and Instruction
Frank has held positions as an Instructor for welding technology and industrial safety, Manufacturing and Industrial Relations Coordinator, Lead Instructor for a Fiberglass Technology Program and a manager of Manufacturing Engineering. Frank has extensive knowledge in designing and teaching welding classes in arc welding, advanced welding, MIG/TIG and oxy-acetylene welding. He also designed and taught welding courses for trade union apprenticeship programs. Frank has monitored, prepared samples and evaluated welder qualification testing to A WS D 1.1 and D 15.1for local industries as well as performed welder testing to company specifications.

Industrial Safety Consultation and Instruction

Frank has extensive experience in many safety-related practice areas. He has provided instruction in both lab and lecture situations; prepared standardized and custom lesson plans; designed new, customized courses; and has revised existing courses to meet individual needs. Frank has been an instructor for OSHA regulations and safety classes to employees and managers of business and industry. Frank knows the requirements for EPA permits and OSHA compliance and conducts safety inspections of facilities as requested by general industry and construction. He often provides advise to industry on correcting safety and health problems as requested. Frank is an authorized OSHA instructor for General Industry and Construction and serves on various advisory and college committees. He also has years of experience in general management aspectsof the manufacturing industry. Frank has a B.S. in Vocational Education Studies and a M.S in an Occupational Education Program. He has 132 hours in V. T. 1. -Arc, Heliarc, and Advanced Heliarc Welding School, 30 hours of Industrial Management/Quality Control training, and 16 hours of Methods and Techniques of Teaching Industrial Trades. Frank is certified in State of Illinois Industrial Trades Teaching, American Welding Society - Certified Welding Inspector, and an Authorized OSHA Instructor for General Industry and Construction.
